The Gift of HOPE

A blue square , a yellow square , and a blue circle on a white background.

The concept of hope is not set in stone. It has different meanings for different people, yet we all understand the value of having hope.

This year, we have been speaking with friends of the charity who have a lived experience of cancer about what the word hope means to them and we are sharing these messages across Leicestershire and Rutland this December.

For 25 days a different message will appear here on our website and on our social media, we have had these messages made into decorations which are hanging in shops and businesses throughout the counties, and we would love you to get involved.

Please share our message to support Hope Against Cancer. You can donate directly to the campaign either here on our website or on our special JustGiving campaign page:

Through community support, cutting-edge research and outstanding care we can continue to have some of the best cancer treatment opportunities in the world, right on our doorstep.

The Hope Cancer Trials Centre hugely benefits local people with cancer and the results of the research and trials carried out there go on to support the national and international effort to overcome cancer.
